In a surprising new analysis, it was found that most handsets carry 18 times more germs than the handle of the average toilet handle. They mention that one of the phones they tested, had enough germs to give someone a serious stomach upset. One source recommends cleaning your phone with a anti-bacterial wipe regularly.

In a similar study released earlier this year found that the average keyboard contains more bacteria than the average toilet seat. Here are five ways to clean your keyboard. And no, none of those mention the use of your laundry machine. Although they do list the dishwasher as one of the methods to clean it.
